Partners
in Employment
Partners in Employment assists people with work related barriers to find, secure and maintain long term employment. In partnership with federal and provincial government funding sources, the Saskatchewan Abilities Council administers the program in Yorkton at 222 Smith Street East.
We offer individualized services based on the job seeker's needs. Utilizing the supported employment model, Partners in Employment staff work together to facilitate clients' employment.
The employment specialist seeks and cultivates job opportunities and helps clients plan their entry into the workplace.
The employment supports coordinator will mobilize other supports including job coaches to help the job seeker maintain employment.
The job coach works with the employer to learn what needs to be done, then helps the job seeker to learn the job. The job coach also provides support as needed and for as long as needed.
Partners in Employment is a regional service that serves Yorkton and the surrounding communities. We offer these services to individuals residing in Yorkton, south to Kipling, north to Rose Valley, east to the Manitoba border, and west to Leroy.
