Do you or does someone you know have trouble . . .

  • communicating

  • dialling the phone or
  • using other devices like the television?

Technology may exist which can help with everyday tasks. Our Adaptive Technology department is dedicated to applying electronics and computers to open the door to educational, employment and social opportunities for people with disabilities. We provide assessment, consultation, installation, training and repair services for communication and environmental equipment.

Any Saskatchewan resident can access Adaptive Technology Services on a fee-for-service basis. We work with clients of all ages and can offer mobile services throughout the province. Our process, from assessment or consultation to education and training, is designed to determine the most appropriate equipment for each individual and to provide assistance so every person can optimize their abilities.

Technical aids can assist people with disabilities to control their environment, to access a computer or to communicate with other if they are unable to speak. We specialize in environmental controls, communication devices, software and other equipment such as hands-free phones and stove guards.
