Partners in Settlement & Integration: Yorkton

Partners in Settlement & Integration is an immigration support program
for newcomers in the Yorkton region.

Free services are offered to both international newcomers and to employers for integration and retention of staff who are new to Canada.

Services for newcomers:

• Community orientation tours
• Connections to cultural, social, and recreational groups
• Translation and interpretation
• Information resource centre for employment, housing, education, healthcare, and other community services

Services for employers:

• Cultural awareness education
• Translation and interpretation
• Assistance with employee settlement plans

The Partners in Settlement & Integration program has made a difference to Mario Guerra.

Mario Guerra arrived in the Yorkton region three years ago from the Phillipines. He was grateful to have the support of the immigration program to help him adjust to life in a new country.
