Community Alternatives Program: Swift Current

The Community Alternatives Program offers a way of becoming more involved in the community.

The Swift Current Branch established the program in early 2009 specifically for people attending the Training Centre
who want to find work, either paid or volunteer.

Key services of the program: 

• Work with each participant to identify their interests, skills, and abilities
• Help each participant set personal goals
• Provide individualized assistance and on-going support to find a job and maintain a job in the community
