Volunteer

Volunteers are a valuable resource to many areas of the Saskatchewan Abilities Council. Our clients and staff members benefit from the enthusiasm, knowledge, and
friendship that volunteers bring with them.

Reasons to volunteer with the Council:

  • share your time
  • share a skill
  • gain work experience in the human services field
  • meet new people and develop frienships

A Volunteer's Story:

Volunteer Pat Lauinger has been instrumental in the success of the Life Enrichment Program at the Saskatoon Branch. Pat was recently honoured for her outstanding, long-term commitment to the Saskatchewan Abilities Council with a Volunteer of Distinction Award from the Saskatchewan Association of Rehabilitation Centres.

Volunteer opportunites include: Camp Easter Seal, Summer Fun, Life Enrichment, and SLYP-Out.

The Council also recruits volunteers for our fund raising events. For more information, please check out the events section.
