Volunteer

Volunteers are a valuable resource to many areas of the Saskatchewan Abilities Council. Our clients and staff members benefit from the enthusiasm, knowledge, and
friendship that volunteers bring with them.

Reasons to volunteer with the Council:

  • share your time
  • share a skill
  • gain work experience in the human services field
  • meet new people and develop frienships

Volunteer opportunites include Camp Easter Seal, Summer Fun, Life Enrichment, and SLYP-Out.

The Council also recruits volunteers for its fundraising events. For more information, please check out the events section.

"Some of our best staff started out as volunteers." ~Joyce Phillips, Regional Director, Saskatoon Branch.

"The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches
but to reveal to him his own."  ~Benjamin Disraeli
