Repair and Maintenance

Repair and maintenance services are available free of charge for equipment provided under the loan program.

Key services of the program include:

  • Care and maintenance instructions for hyrdraulic patient lifters and both lifts are provided with each piece of equipment when it is loaned. In addition, regular maintenance is scheduled on all patient lifting devices and users will be contacted when regular maintenance is required on their equipment. If you have any concerns about the function of lifting equipment between regularly scheduled maintenance, please contact the depot nearest you.
  • Repair services are available free of charge for manual and power wheelchairs provided through the Special Needs Equipment loan program. An appointment is required to help provide quick and efficient service for all clients.
  • Scooters are not provided trhough the loan program and er are unable to offer repair services for this equipment.
